VTR connects with Fort Lauderdale OBAP ACE Academy

Visionary Training Resources (VTR) collaborated with the Fort Lauderdale Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) ACE Academy at the Spirit Training Center on June 10, 2024. With CEO Evey Cormican on-site, 20 students had an opportunity to experience our proprietary FlightDeckToGoTM using B737, B747, B757, B767, A320 family, ERJ, and CRJ flight decks. This incredible partnership demonstrated the next generation of training for the next generation of pilots.

The purpose of Aviation Career Education (ACE) is to offer first level exposure to the aviation industry by providing aviation career exploration for middle and high school students. Academy participants learn about aviation history, theory of flight, and other aviation related subjects.

The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals ACE Academy is a nationally recognized program co-sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE). OBAP gives 1 yr membership to all ACE cadets nationwide.

Founded by pilots with extensive safety and training backgrounds, Visionary Training Resources (VTR) delivers a powerful pilot training platform, FlightDeckToGoTM, which leverages the power of virtual reality (VR) technology. Portable, easy-to-use, realistic, and dimensionally accurate, FlightDeckToGoTM provides important advantages over traditional flight simulators, including reduced training costs, cost savings on aircraft familiarization training, and better retention of information.
